A stunning pair of vintage 1970s Scandinavian modern lounge chairs by Komfort, featuring beautifully sculpted bentwood frames, rich cognac leather cushions, and distinctive cantilevered bases.

These striking chairs are a wonderful example of Scandinavian modern design, combining organic curves, natural materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.

The elegantly curved bentwood frames create a floating silhouette, while the original tufted leather cushions provide generous comfort and support. Beneath the cushions, a cleverly engineered canvas sling system is secured to the wooden frames with leather straps, adding both functionality and visual interest.

The warm cognac leather has been carefully reconditioned and recolored, restoring its appearance while preserving the beautiful character and patina of the original material.

From the dramatic curved armrests to the exposed leather strap construction on the reverse, these chairs are just as beautiful from behind as they are from the front.

Very good vintage condition. Original leather cushions have been reconditioned and recolored, retaining their natural creasing and vintage character. No holes or tears in the leather. Canvas sling seating is structurally sound. Bentwood frames show age-appropriate wear.
